Cup Characteristics: Hint of mustiness with a bit of earthy character sometimes described as old or elemental. Compared to young Pu-Eerh, this tea is quite mild.
Ingredients: Black Tea (Pu-erh style)
Description: Better with time. Like a fine wine, this tea only tastes when aged. Our Golden Pu-erh has been aged for five years in a dark cave in Yunnan, China. This gives it its unique fermented flavor and aroma.
The tea masters in Yunnan take their time to ensure that you get the best Pu-Erh. They take the tea leaves through a special process to ensure that we get to enjoy all the layers of Golden Pu-erh. They are picked, rolled, steamed, and pressed into tightly-packed cakes. You break the tea leaves out of the cake when you’re ready to brew some.
Earthy. Our Golden Pu-erh has a soft, round, and full-bodied flavor. It has sweet afternotes and a smooth lingering taste.
You can steep our Golden Pu-erh multiple times until it doesn't give off a full-bodied aroma or taste anymore.
Enjoy this tasty brew anytime you like, morning, noon, or night!
