The people of Europe adored it so much that King Charles II of England posed for an official portrait while receiving a pineapple gift. If we were back in King Charles' era, we'd do the same.

America greeted the nourishing goodness with even more gusto than their European counterparts. Its unique royally and colorful appearance was priceless to them.
